The ticket was Denver to Chicago, out Friday and back Monday.
Friday started in a bedroom with a computer. Saturday turned into a wedding: ties, dresses, flowers, family photos, a reception, and a lot of people holding drinks. I wore a black shirt, a striped tie, and sunglasses. Sunday had more family pictures and a stop at a residential construction site before the flight home.
I am not naming the couple or the other guests. The photos are clear about the event and do not need everybody attached to a public article.
The itinerary gave me DEN to MDW and the dates. The Photos library has 126 images from the same long weekend. Together they make the trip plain. I went to Chicago for a wedding.
Work was busy around it. SimAuthor had just been acquired. I was still running the company's network and systems, and I had been applying for Linux and network jobs. None of that made this a work trip.
The photo here is from Saturday afternoon. The original is mine. I cropped out the partial person at the edge and removed the file metadata before publishing it.
There is not much else I need to add. I flew out Friday, dressed up Saturday, saw family, and came back Monday.
The rest of the pictures stay private. They belong to the people in them. I do not need the whole reception here to show I was there.
Black shirt. Loud tie. Chicago wedding. That was the whole weekend.
